High viscosity is an independent online juried exhibition platform created by artists for artists.
Founded in response to the growing frustration surrounding popularity based competitions, purchased voting systems and inaccessible exhibition opportunities. High Viscosity aims to provide emerging artists with meaningful exhibition experience in a professional and inclusive environment.
Rather than prioritizing follower accounts or social reach, High Viscosity focuses on presentation, visibility and thoughtful recognition.
All submitted artists are accepted into the exhibition gallery and archive. Jurors then select featured works, category distinctions and award recipients based on merit, originality and impact.
We believe exhibition experience matters! One advantage of being in the exhibition is that it can be used as a credit on artist CVs, Resumes and future applications. So, if you have never been in an exhibition before this is a great place to start!
Artists may also receive optional constructive feedback and recognition opportunities designed to support artistic growth and confidence.
